Walk For Water
The Walk For Water is a 3-mile walk in which participants carry a 5-gallon water bucket to experience the daily trek that women and children around the world make each day to collect water for their families.
The purpose of the Walk For Water is twofold:
to raise awareness to the plight of the global poor who lack access to safe water
to raise money to install a community safe water system in the village of Amolo Lanya in western Kenya.
The Jubilee Village Project is sponsoring the Indianapolis Walk For Water at the Indy Water Canal on July 24, 2021. Click Here for more information.
100% of monies raised will be used to bring safe water to villages in western Kenya.
